5 Ways to Create Passive Income From Digital Products

Imagine this, you are sitting on the couch catching up on your favorite Netflix series, totally relaxed, and BAM! You just got paid.

Or this, you are at the grocery store doing your weekly shopping. It’s not particularly exciting but your fridge is empty and you can only order in so many times. But then all of a sudden your phone buzzes and BAM! You just got paid.

Or here is my favorite…. You are on vacation, champagne in hand, you’re taking in all the beautiful views, and then BAM! You just got paid.

Are you catching on? Passive income is truly the goal when it comes to the busy entrepreneur. It allows you to create the life you always dreamed of, and get paid while doing it. I can say this because I am living it, my income is almost exclusively passive.

1. Pick your product

First things first, you need to decide on what product you want to ride the passive income train with. I would start with something simple like a digital planner, they are becoming more and more popular every day.

Nowadays everyone is searching for convenience, not an extra item to remember bringing with them. This is why digital planners basically sell themselves! Which goes along with the theme of passive income just perfectly!

2. Do your research!

Now that you know what digital product you will be creating, it’s time to make it irresistible to your audience. How do you do that you ask, with market research!!

Market research will make your products and instant success once you launch and take away the stress of what if’s while creating them. By doing this, you are giving yourself the insurance that people want what you are creating.

Take time to poll your audience and get their feedback on their pain points. Use this information to create your product and once you're done, sit back and relax!

3. Sales Funnels

A passive income must-have. A good sales funnel will do **most of** the work for you! You do not want to sidestep this, create a simple funnel that will lead your audience right to your digital product.

Once you are done, it will generate all your new leads while you are busy watching Netflix, grocery shopping, or on that dream vacation, we talked about earlier.

4. Get visible

Don’t be camera shy, it’s not the time! You need to get your pretty face out there and talk up your product. Your audience wants to hear from you why they need this product, and really, only you can sell them on this. Be consistent with this, you can even start early and tease your digital product while you are creating it.

5. Always refer back

This tip is something to keep in mind as you grow and scale your business. You have your sales funnel and that’s great but mention your products down the line as much as you can. There will always be someone looking for something similar to what you created, don’t miss out on the sale because you didn’t say something.

Keep your products pinned in your mind, you can reference them in blog posts, save them in a IG highlight, promote them in social posts that relate, so many options!

I think it’s safe to say, I’m addicted to passive income. You can be too, digital products are an easy way to launch into the passive income life.
